GRADY — The Hardin Farms Pumpkin Patch and restaurant at Grady has closed due to highway restructuring.
According to a notice on the Hardin Farms web site, highway restructuring has crippled their business: “The lack of being able to obtain proper advertising signs has made it extremely difficult for customers to find us, ultimately killing our business. We would personally like to thank all of our customers who have visited us throughout the years. Thank You!”
The Hardin Farms market will remain open during produce and pecan season but customers are urged to call before going. The phone numbers are: 870-479-3978 or 870-479-0078.
I really hate this. My kids enjoyed going over each fall and going through the games and booths, as well as the pumpkin patch. It is awful that the Highway Department is willing to put someones business at risk by not trying to work with them. Sure going to miss this each year!
