The South Arkansas Telephone Company (SATCO) of Hampton announced Thursday that it is building a 300-mile, $10 million fiber network that will provide customers with internet speeds typically available only to more densly populated areas. The fiber connection begins in Hope and has been built through Stamps. Construction work has just reached Magnolia. The fiber line will be extended to Monticello, Warren, Hampton, Camden and El Dorado. Seark Today’s news partner magnoliareporter.com has the full story on this new fiber network.
