Area timber industry subject of new documentary

The film was funded by an Arkansas Heritage Grant which was awarded to the Bradley County Chamber of Commerce.  It features an array of stunning footage from around South Arkansas’s vast forests, multiple interviews with past and current workers that are involved in the industry, and the story of how dreams and determination have helped the timber industry persevere over the decades.

The documentary was produced by the local production company Raptorproductions of Warren.  Historian Rob Reep was the writer and director of the film.A reception will be held in the foyer of the Cultural Center after the film is over.  Refreshments will be available.  A visual display will be exhibited featuring historic photographs from the Timber Industry.  For more information contact the Chamber of Commerce at 870-226-5225.
