Monticello Kiwanis Club planning flag display on town square

The Monticello Kiwanis Club will display American flags on the town square in honor and remembrance of service men and women. The flags will be on display from Memorial Day, the last Monday in May, through Flag Day, June 14. The Kiwanis Club is asking for a $30 donation from individuals or groups who are interested in honoring a particular soldier or group of soldiers with a flag on the town square. A flag with an attached tag identifying the honored soldier(s) will be displayed. After the display period, the keepsake flag may be picked up by the donor at Union Bank.
