UAM, SAU battle for timberlands bragging rights Sept. 29

The new trophy for the Battle of the Timberlands a rivalry between the University of Arkansas-Monticello Boll Weevilsand the Southern Arkansas University Muleriders. Rumor has it if UAM wins, SAU President David Rankin will dance with the Weevil mascot on the 50-yard line after the game. Should SAU win UAM Chancellor Jack Lassiter will kiss the SAU mascot, a live mule. Be at Cotton Boll Stadium in Monticello on September 29 at 6 p.m. for the Battle of the Timberlands.
