Adam Gregory Lynn, 35, of Portland, died on December 2, 2017 at the Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
He was a 2000 graduate of Lake Village High School and attended the University of Arkansas at Monticello and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock where he recently received a degree in nursing. He also worked on the family farm and was a member of the Montrose United Methodist Church.
Mr. Lynn was preceded in death by his mother, Angie Stewart Lynn in 2016; two brothers, John Edward Lynn, Jr. in 1988 and Brandon Cecil Lynn in 1977; his grandparents, Cecil and Lear Lee Bonnette Lynn and Robert Stewart, Jr.
He is survived by his father, Johnny Lynn of Portland; his grandmother, Ellen Gregory of Bastrop, Louisiana and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 5, at the Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dan Bonnette and Bro. Jimmy Bonnette officiating. Burial will be at the Montrose Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Trey Montgomery, Barrett Howell, Brandon Scucchi, George Regalado, Tommy Nolan and Andrew Tate. Honorary pallbearers are Phillip Bonnette, David Lynn, Brad Whittington and William Jones, Jr. Memorials may be made to the Montrose Cemetery Association, 133 Lynn Road, Portland, AR 71663.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
