Albert Stanley Nichols, 80, of Eudora died on December 28, 2017 at LSU University Hospital in Shreveport, Louisiana.
He was born on April 24, 1937 in Eudora to the late Harley Nichols and L.V. (Pevetoe) Nichols. He married Patsy Ann Hagood on June 6, 1987 in Snyder, Arkansas.
Mr. Nichols would go above and beyond to make sure that his family was provided for and needed nothing. He loved spending time with his family but his passion was his profession as a pipeline operator for more than 60 plus years. He has spent a lot of time away from home and traveled to many places overseas. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Eudora.
Mr. Nichols was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, William H. Nichols.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy Hagood Nichols of Eudora; one daughter, Jennifer Givens of Rayville, Louisiana; two sisters, Barbra Lacy of Heber Springs, and Carnell Garner of Lake Village; one brother, Allen Nichols of Eudora and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 30 from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. with funeral following at 2 p.m. at Bishop-King Funeral Home in Lake Villag with Bro. Sanders Brooks officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Eudora.
