Brandi Beth Kersten, 40, of Hamburg, lost her fight with Diabetes on October 4, 2017 at her home.
She was a 1995 graduate of Hamburg High School and a member of the Hamburg First United Methodist Church. She loved arts and crafts and enjoyed cooking and preparing lunch for the nurses at the dialysis center.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, H.T. and Regina Pennington Reep and Willfred Kersten.
She is survived by a daughter, Jayda Beth Knight of Hamburg; her parents, Bill and Genie Reep Kersten of Hamburg; her grandmother, Mary Beth Lawrence Kersten of Benton; three uncles, Todd Kersten of Poland, Johnny Reep of Little Rock and Randy Reep of El Dorado; two aunts, Ann Kersten Ruffin of Mayflower and Jan Kersten Hood of Benton.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., on Saturday, October 7, at the Hamburg First United Methodist Church with Rev. Greg Comer officiating. A private inurnment will be in the Hamburg First United Methodist Church Columbarium.
Visitation will be Saturday, October 7, following the service in the fellowship hall of the Hamburg First United Methodist Church.

The family would like to express their gratitude to James and Sarah Robinson for their love and care of Jayda, and to the doctors and nurses who helped with Brandi’s care and her fight with Diabetes for the past 32 years.
