Iverson Jackson, president of the Republican Party of Arkansas African American Coalition, will be the guest speaker at the Drew County Republican Party lunch in Monticello on Wednesday, July 3, from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Los Arcos Restaurant. The meeting is open to the public.

Jackson is a retired US Army lieutenant colonel and pastor of Zoë Baptist Church in Little Rock.

“Anyone who would like to learn more about the history of the Republican Party in the African American community as well as the current party platform is encouraged to attend,” said Drew County Republican Party Chairman Diana Harton.

Los Arcos Restaurant is located at 512 U.S. 425 in Monticello.
