Joey Pollock, 32, of Hamburg, died on September 5, 2019, in Hamburg.
He was a native of Bastrop, Louisiana and lifelong resident of the Berlin community, south of Hamburg.
Mr. Pollock was a truck driver, and attended Harmony Baptist Church. He loved caring for his mother and enjoyed riding four-wheelers. He was an avid hunter and a member of the Holland Hill Hunting Club.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Jamie Pollock in 2008; his grandparents, Willie Ray and Elsie Mae West Pollock and Harland Sr. and Barbara McDaniels Abernathy.
He is survived by his children, Judy & Gavin Pollock of Pine Bluff; his parents, Ricky and Dowana Abernathy Pollock; a brother, Josh Pollock and wife, Stacy, all of Hamburg and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are 10 a.m., Monday, September 9, 2019, at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, on the Berlin Road, with Bro. Allan Eppinette officiating.
Burial will be at the Mt. Zion Cemetery. Pallbearers are Henry Bissell, Mark West, Mitch West, Trapper Holland, Will Kinnaird, and Luke Holland.
Visitation will be Sunday, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the church.
