Market in the Park in Monticello is winding down its 2017 season.
The market will be open through the end of October with fall vegetables, corn stalks, cotton stalks, eggs, and baked goods each Saturday morning from 8-11 a.m. and Tuesday afternoons from 4:30-6:30 p.m.
Fundraisers during the month of October support the market so that booth spaces remain free of charge to all vendors. Biscuits and gravy will be sold on Saturday, October 14 at 8:30 a.m. A spaghetti supper fundraiser is planned for Tuesday, October 17 beginning at 5 p.m. Carry out meals are available. Meals are $8 each and include spaghetti, salad, bread, dessert, and tea. Dinners may be preordered from Market in the Park vendors or the Monticello-Drew County Chamber of Commerce.
