A Star City man was killed and two other people were injured Thursday in a 3-vehicle crash in Drew County, according to an Arkansas State Police preliminary accident report.
Cody Brockman, 26, of Star City, the driver of a Chevrolet truck, was killed in the accident.
Teresa Walton, 57, of Pine Bluff, the driver of a Dodge Caravan, and her passenger, Chenzy Miller, 25, of Monticello, were injured in the accident, according to the accident report.
According to the accident report, the crash occurred Thursday at 5:15 p..m. in Drew County on Highway 83, two miles north of Rose Hill Cutoff where the southbound Dodge Caravan crossed the center line of Highway 83 striking the northbound Chevrolet truck driven by Brockman and a northbound Dodge Ram behind Brockman vehicle. The Brockman vehicle rolled and struck the guard rail.
Travel conditions were clear and the roadway was dry at the time of the accident.
At least 251 people have died on Arkansas roads this year, according to preliminary figures.
