A Dumas man recently paroled from the Arkansas Department of Correction has been arrested on child pornography charges.
Christopher S. Gentry, 41, was sentenced to six years in prison last year for growing psilocybin mushrooms in the Dumas home where he lived with his parents. He was released on parole less than two weeks ago.
While investigating the drug crime last year, police seized Gentry’s computer. A report on the analysis of the computer was completed last week. It reportedly contained child pornography.
Gentry was arrested on child pornography charges Tuesday afternoon and had a first appearance hearing Wednesday morning. His bond was set at $100,000.
