A Warren man died as a result of injuries he sustained in a two-vehicle accident Monday morning (May 6) in Drew County. Two others were injured. The accident occurred at 10:50 a.m. in Wilmar on U.S. 278 near County Road 13.
Kenneth Reaves, 71, of Warren died. Terrence Crowell, 48, of Hermitage, and Roderick Robinson, 46, of Warren, were both injured, according to a State Police preliminary accident report.
According to the report, Reaves was traveling north in a 2003 Ford Ranger and attempting to turn onto US. 278 from Drew County Road 13. Crowell and his passenger, Robinson, were traveling east on U.S. 278 when his 2003 Dodge Caravan struck the driver’s side of the Ford Ranger.
The weather and roadway were clear at the time of the accident. At least 145 people have died on Arkansas roads this year, according to preliminary figures.
