The 25th annual Monticello Carols of Christmas parade will be held on Tuesday, November 27 at 6 p.m. in downtown Monticello.

The parade will feature Christmas floats and other entries with the traditional Christmas carol theme.

The parade will follow its usual route down North Main Street, around the town square to South Main and end at the Drew County Historical Museum where children may visit Santa Claus and the Drew County Historical Society will host its annual Christmas tour of the museum.

A pre-parade reception will be held at 5 p.m. at Union Bank, on the town square, where guests can meet Miss Arkansas and the parade judges.

The University of Arkansas at Monticello will also host an open house and parade watch at the Trotter House from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.

The Monticello High School Booster Club will host a chili supper after the parade at the First United Methodist Church. The chili supper benefits Safe Prom.
