The 73rd Annual Drew County Fair begins on Tuesday and runs through September 24. The annual fair parade, which is also set for Tuesday, will feature parade marshal Elvin Bates, a WWII veteran.


Monday, September 19
7 p.m. — Gospel Singing at Homer Pace Auditorium at the Drew County Fairgrounds

Tuesday, September 20
5 p.m. — Parade on Main Street and exhibits open at the fairgrounds
6 p.m. — 10 p.m. “Sneak-a-Peek” carnival rides

Wednesday, September 21
Armband night 6-10 p.m.

Thursday, September 22
Senior Citizens Day — 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Armband Night — 6 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Friday, September 23
Open Rodeo — 8 p.m.
Bow Shoot-Homer Pace Auditorium (sponsored by Jr. Fair Board) — 6:30 p.m.

Saturday, September 24
Halter Show — 10 a.m.
Armband Day — Noon – 4 p.m.
Final Lawnmower Race — 4 p.m.
Open Rodeo at the rodeo arena — 8 p.m.
Drawing for prize money nightly, Tuesday – Saturday, in the breezeway between the educational and commercial buildings.

Admission to the fairgrounds is $2 Tuesday through Thursday and $3 on Friday and Saturday. There will be no admission charged for children under the age of two.
