The Alcoholic Beverage Control Division has denied a Lake Village alcohol retailer’s request to change managers for the sale of beer off premises but approved a similar request for another.

The division denied the application from Tobacco Superstore 54 in Lake Village because the applicant did not qualify to hold a permit, and local officials objected. The objection of local officials was based on an investigation that determined the applicant was not qualified to hold a permit.
