Phillip K. Gilmore, chief executive officer of the Ashley County Medical Center, has been elected to serve as president of the Arkansas Department of Health Board, after serving as president-elect in 2019.

Gilmore was appointed to the ADH board by Governor Asa Hutchinson in January, 2018.

“I am looking forward to serving the mission of the ADH Board and to advocate, protect and promote the health of all citizens of Arkansas,” Gilmore said. “I want to the thank the ACMC Team members for their support and for helping to facilitate the excellent quality health care for all the citizens in our region.”
