Ashley County Medical Center has received the highest patient rating for its hospital and home health services from the Centers for Medicare/Medicaid Services.
Centers for Medicare/Medicaid Services (CMS) independently conducts annual surveys based on patient feedback of healthcare providers. The rating system accounts for the care received, cleanliness of the hospital, and staff attitude and responsiveness. Providers are rated on a scale of 1-5 Stars, with 5 being the highest possible score based on 10 different questions asked of patients by CMS.
“We put patient care above all else,” said Phillip Gilmore, Ashley County Medical Center CEO. “The hardworking staff of ACMC deserves all the credit for this rating and I am incredibly proud of their diligence even through the COVID-19 pandemic. We are committed to our mission of providing the highest quality of care possible and we will continue improving our services, facilities, and equipment so that our patients are receiving the highest standard of care possible. We understand what it means to ‘Treat you like family’ and it is our mission to be second to none when it comes to caring for our patients.”
