Ada Elizabeth “Liz” Jackson Brown, 77, of Star City, passed away on December 31, 2019 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.
She was born on October 19, 1942 in Manila, Arkansas to the late Frank Nelson and Joe Zela Baugh Jackson.
Mrs. Brown was a member of Shell Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was a retired desk clerk for Admiral Benbow Inn and later in life was a homemaker. She loved to volunteer at Area Agency of Aging as a sitter. When her children were younger, she was drafted by them to chaperone school field trips. She attended Pine Bluff High School and attended Pine Vo-Tech for computerized accounting.
Also preceding her in death were her husband, Richard “Dick” Brown and a daughter, Jamie Jo Brown Ralls.
Survivors include two sons, Richard Christopher (Karen) Brown, Jr. of Saucier, Mississippi and Frank (Barbara) Brown of Arkansas; a daughter, Elizabeth “Ann” (Kerry) Brown Teer of Star City; two sisters, DeEsta Jackson Rappond and Patricia Ann Jackson Hankins; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
