Child care providers, teachers, volunteers, and summer program staff who need continuing education hours or verified training hours may consider attending the 2018 4-H Afterschool Training on Saturday, April 7, 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m., at Southside Baptist Church Family Life Center in Star City.
This training will be conducted by County Extension Agents from Desha, Drew, Jefferson, and Lincoln counties.
Five hours of professional development credits will include topics such as Healthy Living – Your Body & You; Manners & Social Graces; Care Bags for the Homeless; and Maze Engineering & Coding. Light snacks will be provided. Participants are asked to bring a sack lunch.
Seats are limited. Pre-register by calling your local Cooperative Extension Service office by Monday, April 2.
