Alice Juanita Felter, 90, of Warren, passed away on April 6, 2020 at her home.
She was born on April 15, 1929 in Rayville, Louisiana as the only child of the late Hiram and Bertie Anderson. She was a graduate of Rayville High School before moving to Natchez, Mississippi, where she met and later married her husband, the late James Felter, on February 25, 1950.
Juanita was a member of First Baptist Church of Warren, a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, working in her yard, and needlework, including sewing, quilting, embroidery, and crocheting. She loved children. In addition to time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she also provided childcare for numerous families in the Warren area. Her favorite times were spent surrounded by her family.
Preceding her in death are her husband, James Felter; her parents, Hiram and Bertie Anderson; her son-in-law, Charles Bridwell, whom she loved as a son, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Bridwell of Warren; her two grandsons, Drake Bridwell of Longview, Texas and Clint Bridwell of Warren, and five great-grandchildren.
A private family graveside service will be held at Green Lawn Memorial Park in Natchez, Mississippi, arrangements are by Frazer’s Funeral Home.
