Alvin Roy Slaughter, 68, of Warren, died on Monday, February 20, 2017 at his home.
He was a retired mechanic, a member of First Baptist Church.
Mr. Slaughter was born on August 18, 1948, in Warren and was the son of the late Eunice Uriah Slaughter and Mattie Will Bryant Slaughter.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ann Johnson Slaughter and a son, Terry Lynn Thomason.
Survivors are one son, Roy Wayne Thomason of Warren; two daughters, Rhonda Benton and husband Leon, Khristina Ward and husband Stacy all of Warren; a brother, Charles Dewayne Slaughter of Warren; two sisters, Linda Slaughter Daniels and husband Carl of Bearden, and Mary Slaughter Brown and husband Elmer of Little Rock; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 23, at Frazer’s Funeral Home in Warren. Burial will be at Union Hill Cemetery at Ingalls. Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 22, at the funeral home.
