Amber Diane Tarlton, 44, of Star city, passed away November 19, 2020 at her home.
She was born in Dumas on May 18, 1976.
Amber worked as a behavioral health intake counselor for Optum and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She enjoyed being a grandmother and tried her best to make someone smile every day.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Lynn Tarlton; a son Kameron Tarlton; and maternal grandparents, Tom Knight and Betty Brown.
Survivors include her mother, Laura Ann McKinney of Star City; son, Ryan Tarlton of Star City; daughter, Sydney Robinson of Conway; two brothers, Justin Tarlton of Gould and Joshua Tarlton of Dumas; sister, Arika Tarlton of Gould; a grandchild; paternal grandparents, Bobby and Mary Tarlton of Gould; maternal grandmother, Joyce Knight of Dumas; two fur babies, Kane and Sister; special friends, Marqueta Heath and Khristopher Russ; many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended friends and family.
Visitation is Monday, November 23, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Griffin Funeral Service in Star City. Graveside services are 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 24, at Dark Corner Cemetery. Bro. Dubs Byers will officiate.
