Anderson French Harrod

 

Bruce Anderson, Melinda French and Reid Harrod appear to won their respective district judicial races.

According to complete, unofficial election results, Bradley County District Judge Bruce Anderson appears to have bested Drew County District Judge Sara Sawyer-Hartness in the District 28 State Court election. The Arkansas Legislature last year merged the Bradley and Drew County district courts, creating the District 28 court which will be presided over by one full time judge.

Melinda French, a deputy prosecutor from Desha County, appears to have defeated Chicot County District Judge Laurie Bridewell in the District 27 judicial election. The Legislature merged the Chicot and Desha County district courts to create the new position.

In the District 26 race, Reid Harrod appears to have defeated Billy J. Hubbell. Harrod currently serves as Ashley County district judge, Hamburg division, while Hubbell serves as the Ashley County district judge, Crossett division. The legislature merged those two divisions creating one full time position.
