Angela Adair Davis, 46, of Monticello, died on Sunday, July 2, 2017 at her home.

She was born on August 12, 1970 at Warren and was the daughter of James C. Adair of Rye and the late Claudia Paulette Browning Adair.

She was a graduate of Woodlawn High School, a member of Harmony Freewill Baptist Church, and a retired retail store staffer.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a sister, Annette Adair Wright.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband, Ray Nelson; a son, R.D. Davis of Monticello; a daughter, Mattie Nelson of Monticello; a brother, Otto Adair of Rye; two nephews, Terrell Chapman of Rye and J. D. Durham of Texas; and four grandchildren, three great nieces and a great nephew.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 6 at 2 p.m. at Union Cemetery in Rye with Rev. Richard Barley officiating.

Pallbearers are Ronnie Adair, Charlie Adair, Derek Adair, Tubby Adair, Chris Reed, and Bart Nichols.

Arrangements are by Frazer’s Funeral Home.
