Ann Carr Poole McGee, 57, of Dumas passed away on June 18, 2016 in Little Rock.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Dumas and the Dumas High School Class of 1977. She retired from Mad Butcher in Dumas after 27 years of employment. She was known for her warm friendly smile and kindness, a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Mrs. McGee was born on February 27, 1959 in Dumas and was the daughter of Luther C. “Buddy” Poole, Jr. and the late, Audrey Jefflyn Carr.

Survivors are her husband, Ricky McGee of Dumas; father, Luther C. (Buddy) Poole, Jr. and wife, Marjorie of Collierville, Tennessee; two daughters, Audrey Nicole “Nikki” Haskins and husband Bryan of DeWitt, and Sarah Ann Sessions and husband, Jason of Dumas; three brothers, Jeffrey Allen Poole of Dumas, Michael Batson of Beebe, and Marc Poole of Indianapolis, Indiana; and five grandchildren, Beth Ann Shadwick, Corbin Haskins, Jackson Sessions, Jaydon Sessions and Jewel Wargo.

Visitation to be held on June 20 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Griffin Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held on June 21 at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church with Rev. Dubs Byers officiating. Burial will be at Walnut Lake Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the First Baptist Church in Dumas.
