Anne Jones “Mickey” Hammond, of Eudora, died January 15, 2021, at Chicot Memorial Medical Center in Lake Village.
Mickey was born August 11, 1946, in Lake Village, Arkansas.
Mickey, as her close friends and family called her, was known for her quick wit and wonderful laugh. She was employed at Lake Village Clinic for the last 20 years as a medical transcriptionist.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lamar and Nita Bracey Jones; and one brother; Buck Jones in 1976.
Mickey is survived by one son, Lowell Hammond of Eudora; one brother, Mike Jones and wife, Marylen of Hazen; two sisters, Marla Thompson and husband, David of Denham Springs, Louisiana, Tracey White and husband, Tyler of Hot Springs; 10 nieces and nephews, Michelle Harper (Kevin), Leslie Stephens (Matt), Kaitlyn Price (Philip), James Gatlin, Chad Johnson, Nikki Johnson, Austin Rowe, Larry (Sara) Jones, Christi Gonzales and Kathy Wells; as well as a host of great-nieces and great-nephews and many loving friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date and time in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Eudora.
