Aron Wayne Durham , 20, of Woodlawn, died July 5, 2014.
He was a 2011 graduate of Woodlawn High School and was employed with US Steel of Pine Bluff. He was a member of Center Missionary Baptist Church and attended Pine Bluff Salvation Army with his grandmother.
He was born August 2, 1993 in Pine Bluff and was the son of Alton and Nina Durham of Woodlawn.
Mr. Durham loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and duck and deer hunter. He also enjoyed mud riding in trucks, four wheelers and treasured the time with his family.
Mr. Durham was preceded in death by his grandmother, Lois Faye Durham; grandfather, Kenneth “Pop Pop” Snider; great grandmother Ruth Sanderson; great grandfather, Clyde Durham; and great grandmother Jake Dixon.
He is survived by his parents, Alton and Nina Durham of Woodlawn; brothers, Alton Keith Durham and Thomas Braydon Durham both of Woodlawn; grandparents John and Brenda Golden of Pine Bluff; grandfathers, Evertt Wayne Durham of Shreveport, La., Tommie Dee Lester of White Hall; great grandparents, Louie B. Bass of Pine Bluff, Thelma Bass of Englewood, Fla.; and many other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held July 10 at 2 p.m., at Buie Funeral Home of Rison with Capt. David Leonard and Bro. Doney Blackerby officiating. Burial will follow at Fitzhugh Cemetery near Sulphur Springs.
Visitation will be July 9 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Buie Funeral Home of Rison.
