Attielene Ware, 74, of Crossett, passed away on January 14, 2016 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock.
She was born in Crossett on March 30, 1941 and was the daughter of Jesse James and Mary Lou Pickle Jenkins.
Mrs. Ware graduated from Crossett High School in 1959. She was an employee of the Arkansas Revenue Office for 28 years and retired in 2007. She was a member of the Church of Christ, loved geraniums, pansies and working in her garden. Attie was known for her cookies.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Arnold Jenkins, Cordell Jenkins and Archie Jenkins; one sister, Ellie Dee Maxwell.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Enoch Ware; a son, Scott Ware; a sister, Maycel Barnett (Charles); a sister-in-law, Verlee Jenkins, all of Crossett and a a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on January 19, 2016 at Jones Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Toby Austin officiating. Interment will follow at Crossroads Cemetery under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett.
Pallbearers: Allen Farmer, Dickie Gulledge, Bill Runyan, Dewayne Pittman, Tim Barnett, Scott Floyd and Don Rodgers.
