Barbara Ann Parrott Ogles, 67, of Warren, died on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at the Drew County Medical Center in Monticello.
She was a retired registered nurse who worked at the Veterans Medical Center, UAMS, Baptist Medical Center and taught nursing at the Great-Rivers Vo technical Center in McGehee. She was a master gardener and member of the Warren Garden Club.
She was born on February 5, 1950 in Warren and was the daughter of Rowena Poteet James of Warren and the late Wilton Don Parrott, Sr.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Roy Howard Parrott and Wilton Don Parrott, Jr.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughter, Kristin Weeks, and husband Mark of New Edinburg; two grandchildren Hannah Weeks and Jameson Weeks of New Edinburg; a sister, Jeannie Sullivan and husband John of Warren; nieces, Sue Ann Bowen of Conway and Shelly Leggio and Cali Parrott of Pasadena Texas; and a great-nephew, Kirby Leggio, also of Pasadena, Texas.
A memorial service will be held on August 8 at 4 p.m. at Frazer’s Funeral Home in Warren with Rev. Gary Harrison and Dr. Ron Moseley officiating.
Honorary pallbearers are Sterling McBee, Dr. Kerry Pennington, John Sullivan, James Weeks and Warren High School Class of 1968.
