Barbara Ann Reese, 59, of Monticello, passed away on February 24, 2015 at Hospice Home Care in Little Rock.
She was co-owner of Breaker Drive-In at Monticello, working side-by-side with her husband, Larry Reese, for many years operating the business.
Mrs. Reese was a 1971 graduate of Pine Bluff High School. She loved her family and enjoyed gardening and fishing.
She was born on September 19, 1955 at Moscow, Arkansas and was the daughter of Semolia Dean and the late James Edward Dean.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Georgia Ann Walker.
Survivors include her husband, Larry H. Reese of Monticello; her mother, Semolia Dean of Pine Bluff; her children, Stanley Reese (Stacey) of Little Rock, Michiko Reavley of Memphis, Tennessee, Larry H. Reese, Jr. of Alexandria, Virginia and Kamala L. Steele (Terrence) of Alexander; eight
grandchildren, Tyree Reese, Chris Reese, Iresha Wells, Camron Reese, Tamia Steele, Serena Reese, Ethan Steele, and Jaelyn Reese; two brothers, James E. Dean and Michael L. Dean (Connie), of Pine Bluff; two sisters; Joyce J. Dean of Knoxville, Tennessee and Sara A. Austin of Pine Bluff; three uncles, Al Goodwin and Victor Goodwin, both of California, and Felton King of Little Rock; one special sister, Betty Reese-Luster (Edward) of Bartlett, Tennessee; four brothers-in-law, James M. Reese of Lexington, Tennessee, Charles Reese (Beverly) of Atlanta, Georgia, Malcolm Reese (Janice) of Dumfries, Virgina and Herman Reese of Little Rock; and a host of, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other relatives who will mourn her passing.
Visitation will be February 28 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Stephenson Dearman Funeral Home in Monticello. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
