A bake and rummage sale to benefit Kevin Hoffman, a 1988 graduate of Monticello High School who is battling stage 4 squamous cell cancer, is scheduled for Saturday and organizers are soliciting baked goods and sale items for the sale. Hoffman, who now lives in Warren with his wife Jennifer and their four children, is traveling daily to UAMS in Little Rock for radiation and chemotherapy.
If you would like to make this family’s Christmas a little brighter, you may make a monetary donation to the Kevin Hoffman account at Union Bank, donate baked goods and items for the bake and rummage sale, or drop by and make a purchase the sale Saturday morning on the parking lot behind Ray’s on U.S. 425 North in Monticello.
Donated baked goods and sale items can be dropped off at Hoffman’s parents’ home at 125 Falls Street near the University of Arkansas at Monticello campus or at Hoffman’s home in Warren at 28 Southern Courts.
