Benjamin B. Warfield, III, 84, of Lake Village passed away on December 30, 2017 at Chicot Memorial Medical Center in Lake Village.
Mr. Warfield was born September 21, 1933 at Grand Lake to the late Benjamin B. Warfield II and Josephine (Santini) Warfield. He was a U.S. Army veteran who served during the Korean War conflict and worked on the pipeline for many years. He was a member of our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church.
Mr. Warfield was preceded in death by his, parents, two sisters, Vera Place, and Joan Warfield.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Maxine (Dobbs) Warfield of Lake Village; one son, Benjamin B. Warfield IV and wife Lana of Lake Village; one sister, Helen Musick of Memphis, Tennessee; two grandsons, Benjamin B. Warfield V. and John Jackson Warfield; a niece, Wendy Gerard and husband Craig of Little Rockand and a nephew, William E. Place II of Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Visitation will be held Bishop-King Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 2 from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m. with rosary at 6 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, January 3 at 10 a.m. 3 at Our Lady of The Lake Catholic Church with Father Henry Mischowski as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Isidore Cemetery in Lake Village.
