Berzent Blagg, 88, of Dumas, passed away on April 27, 2020 in Star City.
He was born June 4, 1931 in Maysville, Oklahoma to the late Boscoe and Claudia Weems Blagg.
Mr. Blagg was a member of First United Methodist Church in Dumas. He was a retired farmer who farmed in the Lincoln County area for over 60 years. He served as Lincoln County Judge 1997-2004, was a founding member of Garrett Bridge, Wells Bayou Water Association, Lincoln County Conservation Board. He served in the Arkansas Army National Guard as sargeant first class and was activated in 1957 for the Little Rock Central Nine. He was also a Master Mason, a graduate of Dumas High School and attended the University of Arkansas.
Mr. Blagg was preceded in death by his wife Sue Blagg and daughter Susan Blagg Holthoff.
He is survived by two sons, Kenny Blagg and Kevin (Tammy) Blagg, both of Dumas; a brother, Jimmy (Rosalyn) Blagg of Mountain Home; nine grandchildren, Claudia Holthoff Sullivan, Caroline Holthoff, Victoria Holthoff, John David Blagg, Alison Blagg Deal, Julie, Alexis, Dallas and Macie Blagg; and nine great grandchildren, Isaiah, Blagg, Bo Bassett, Lyla, Lowen, Bear, John Morris, Rosmary and James.
