Betty Jewel Spainhour, 84 of Dumas, passed away on July 11, 2018 in White Hall.
She was a member of First Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Mrs. Spainhour was born on November 10, 1933 in Chula, Arkansas and was the daughter of the late, Ernest and Sylvia Mabry.
In addition tgo her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Futrell Spainhour; sister, Helen Poplin; and brothers, J.L. Mabry, Shirley Gene “Jim” Mabry and Evel Mabry.
Survivors are two daughters, Becky Henley of Monticello and Tonya Kelnhofer of Redfield; brother, Lloyd Ray Mabry of Bella Vista; three sisters, Ellen Smith of Springdale, Syble Tanner of Dumas, and Othella Brogan of Fayetteville; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 14 from 1 p.m. until 1:45 p.m., at Griffin Funeral Home in Dumas, followed by a graveside service at 2 p.m., at Walnut Lake Cemetery at Pickens with Rev. Dubs Byers officiating.
Memorials may be made to Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
