Betty Lynn Goodwin

Betty Lynn Goodwin, 83, of Crossett, passed away on March 14, 2022.

She was born in Crossett on November 21, 1938, and was member of the South Crossett Missionary Baptist Church.

Betty was a 1957 graduate of Crossett High School. On January 29, 1959, she married her lifelong best friend and companion, Charles Goodwin. For the next sixty-three years, Betty was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker.

She enjoyed cross stitching, and over the last few years became an avid reader.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Zenith Sivils Carter, and a son, Charles “Chuck” Henry Goodwin in 1982.

She leaves behind her husband of sixty-three years, Charles Goodwin of Crossett; a daughter, Tara Clearman (David) of Hot Springs Village; two grandsons, Brad Seiter (Kelley) of Hot Springs Village and Jonathan Kettles of Bryant; nine great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, March 16 at 2 p.m. at Pinewood Memorial Park with Bro. Chris Sexton officiating.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m., prior to the service, at Medders Funeral Home, 1564 Hwy 52 W, in Crossett.
