Bill G. Holland, 91, of Crossett, passed away on December 12, 2015 at Ashley County Medical Center.
He was a WWII and Korean War Army Veteran and a salesman for 27 years at the Colonial Baking Company. Mr. Holland was a member of the First Baptist Church.
He was born on January 6, 1924 in Gentry and was the son of Alvah Lee and Geneva Gertrude Maxson Holland.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Graham and two brothers, Don Holland and Hayden Holland.
Survivors include his wife of 73 years, Rosemary Holland of Crossett; two daughters, Janis Moyer (Nelson) of Iowa City, Iowa, Marilyn Harney (Bill) of Crossett; one brother, Bob D. Holland of Forrest City; four grandchildren, Dr. Trent Moyer of San Diego, California, Tracy Moyer of Boulder, Colorado, Dr. Justin Harney (Hannah) of Bauxite, Sarah Harney of Monticello, and three great-grandchildren, Ella Moyer, Camden Moyer, both of San Diego, California, Evven Lopes of Boulder, Colorado and an unborn great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held December 16 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church with Bro. Jamie Staley officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Pinewood Memorial Park under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
