Charles Edward “Bill” Trantham, 82, of Warren, died November 28, 2013 at Chapel Woods Nursing Center in Warren.

Mr. Trantham was born May 22, 1931, in Drew County and was the son of the late Ed Trantham and Lenora Ruth Trantham.

He was a retired salesman for Brown Packing Co., a member of First Presbyterian Church, a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and the widower of Ann Neely Trantham.

Also preceding him in death was a brother, Howard Trantham and sisters, Lenora Wiscaver and Audrey Clark.

Survivors include a daughter, Alice Ann Hill and spouse Sonny, of Warren; a grandson, Andy Green and spouse Katie, of Monticello; a great-grandchild, Lillie Kate; his wife, Billie Nell Trantham; stepson, Brooks Handley, of Little Rock; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. November 30, at Frazer Funeral Home in Warren.

Graveside services will be on December 1 at 1:30 p.m. at Oakland Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home.
