Billy Judkins, 84, departed this life Monday, October 28, 2013, at his home in Monticello.

Mr. Judkins was a Korean War veteran where he was awarded the Combat Infantry Badge, Bronze Star and the Korean Service Medal. He was a retired tractor mechanic, diesel engineer, tomato farmer, member of the American Legion, 5th R.C.T Division and was a Christian. His hobbies included gardening, camping and fishing.

He was born May 23, 1929 in Drew County to the late Marvin and Myrtle Collins Judkins.

Also preceding him in death were a brother, J.S. Judkins and a sister, Bobbie Evans.

Mr. Judkins is survived by his wife of 60 years, Sue Judkins of Monticello; three brothers, Harold Judkins, Johnny Judkins and Terry Judkins all of Monticello; two sisters, Geneva Owens of Monticello and Betty Marshall of Crossett; a special brother-in-law, Roger Evans; a special niece, Debbie Owens; and a special friend, Ivory Ollison.
