Billy Ray Robinson, 54, of Hamburg, died August 31, 2014 at the Ashley County Medical Center.
Mr. Robinson was a Spotter for Plum Creek and a member of Epistles of God Church of Deliverance. He was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to fish, hunt and also enjoyed all sports.
He was lifelong resident of Ashley County, and was born on July 1, 1960 at Parkdale.
Mr. Robinson was preceded in death by his parents, Bee and Georgia Mae Dugar Robinson; a brother, John Wesley Kilpatrick; and a sister, Georgia Mae Dugar.
He is survived by a son, Lazarus Tucker of Hamburg; five daughters, Alecia Robinson of Hamburg, Bridgette Gilliam, Glenda Gilliam, Desiree Gilliam, all of Crossett, and Kaliyah Robinson of Hamburg; seven brothers, Robert Robinson of Hamburg, Robert Earl Robinson of Memphis, Tennessee, and James, Lee Edward, Frank, William, and Bell Jr. Robinson all of Chicago, Illinois; seven sisters, Willie Mae Robinson and Ida Mae Robinson both of Hamburg, Christie Brown of Memphis, Tennessee, Bobbie Jean Robinson-Pitts of Crossett, Mary Ann Robinson of Monroe, Louisiana, Earlene Robinson of Pine Bluff, and Fredrica Diane Robinson of Chicago, Illinois, five grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends.
Funeral services will be held September 8, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Epistles of God Church of Deliverance with Pastor Mary Arnold, officiating.
Pallbearers are Lawrence Tucker, James Tucker, Dan Smith, Morris Ray Richardson, Billy Ray Brown, Hollis McQuay and Vellee Williams. Honorary pallbearers are Lee, Frank, Robert and William Robinson. Burial will be at Johnson Memorial Cemetery.
