Blanch Lajoy Byers, 85, of Hamburg, died on January 9, 2016 at the Stonegate Villa Health and Rehabilitation Center in Crossett.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Eden Baptist Church.
Mrs.Byers was a native of Georgetown, Arkansas; a resident of the Milo Community outside of Hamburg for the past 34 years and a former resident of Eau Claire, Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Byers; a great-granddaughter, Margot Rose Miller; her parents, Duncan and Stella Stringfield Height; three brothers, Franklin, Dwight and John Height and a son-in-law, Everett McClain.
She is survived by a daughter, Debbie McLain of Hamburg; two sons, Ken Byers of Hamburg and Mark Byers of Buchanan, Michigan; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held i January 12 at 10 a.m. at the Eden Baptist Church with Rev. J.W. Dobbins officiating.Burial will be in the Eden Cemetery.
