Bobby G. Richardson, 93, of Warren, died on March 29, 2020 at his home.

He was born on June 15, 1926 at Warren and was the son of the late Earnest Grady Richardson and Ozelle Godwin Richardson.

Mr. Richardson served in the Arkansas National Guard from 1948 to June 15, 1986. He was a W 4 Chief Warrant Officer and in the 1960s and 1970s was the A.S.T. for the Warren National Guard Unit in Warren. He retired as the P.B.O. with the 39th Brigade Unit in Little Rock.

Mr. Richardson was a graduate of the Warren High School, a Methodist and a final and original member of Camp 13 in lower Bradley County.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Richardson was also preceded in death by his wife of 72 years, Joanne K. Richardson; a son, Charles Michael Richardson and a brother, E. G. Richardson, Jr.

Surviors are his sons, Steve Richardson and spouse, Debra, of Warren and Scott Richardson and spouse, Karen, of Warren; sisters, Sue Hammons of Warren and Ginger Rauls, Warren; nine grandchildren, Robert Austin Richardson and spouse, Ashley, Scott Allison Johnson and spouse, Justin, Morgan Meeks and spouse, Matt, Stevie Richardson, Dr. Sylvia Simon and spouse, Dr. Tim, Keith Chambers and spouse, Christina, Jenny Lemoine and spouse, Cliff, Brandi Collier and spouse, Jeff, and Alexee Chambers; 10 great-grandchildren, Mattelyn Meeks, McKinleigh Meeks, Savvy Scott Johnson, Pete Simon, Mary Emma Simon, Nicholas Lemoine, Caroline Lemoine, Jack Chambers, Jay Collier and Jaxon Collier; and caregivers Shirley Green and Laverne Moore whom the family greatly appreciates.

The family would like to express their deepest regrets, because of the CDC recommendations for gatherings and the spread of the coronavirus, they will having a PRIVATE family graveside service with Rev. Gary Harrison officiating. The family would like to request memorials for Bobby G. Richardson be sent to the First United Methodist Church, 111 West Church Street, Warren, AR 71671.
