Bobby Gerald Wells, 82, of Monticello, passed away September 20, 2020, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff.
He was born June 22, 1938, in Monticello to the late Ralph Wells and Francis Pearl Russell Wells.
He was a retired pipeline inspector, a Baptist and a United States Army Veteran based in Fort Leonardwood, Missouri and stationed in Germany. His hobbies included bullriding, hunting and gardening.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Wells.
Survivors include his wife, Earline Peacock Wells of Monticello; two sons, Gerald “Bronc” Wells of West Virginia and Shawn Wells of North Dakota; two grandsons, Tyler Wells and wife Sarabeth of Monticello and Amos Lee Wells of Russia; two great grandsons, Thad and Silas Wells of Monticello; one great granddaughter, Jacy Wells of Monticello; two brothers, Charles Wells and wife Peggy of Monroe, Louisiana and Laron Wells and wife Francis of Monticello; and one sister, Brenda Russell and husband Ronnie of Tillar.
Graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 23 at 10 a.m. at Union Ridge Cemetery with Rev. Gary Carter officiating.
