Bobby Lee Majors, 85, of Warren, formerly of Monticello, passed away on March 19, 2019 at Chapel Woods Nursing & Rehab in Warren.
He was born on January 19, 1934 in Monticello to the late R.S. Majors and Dorothy Hood Majors.
Mr. Majors was a graduate of Arkansas A&M College (now University of Arkansas at Monticello), a retired business operator for International Paper and owned his own paper company selling paper products. He was a United States Army veteran, a member of First Baptist Church in Monticello, an avid sports fan and liked to travel.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Gene Majors; a nephew, Billy Stephen Majors; and a niece, Barbara Jean Majors.
Survivors include a brother, Billy Joe Majors of Monticello; three nephews, Mark Majors and wife Donna, Chris Majors, and Jerry Majors and wife Michelle; two nieces, Renee Grizzle and Debra Bennett; along with other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 23, at 11 a.m. at Oakland Cemetery in Monticello.
