Bobby Neal Temple, Sr., 84, of Johnsville died on July 20, 2016 at the Cornerstone Hospital in Little Rock.

Mr. Temple attended Hermitage Public Schools before enlisting in the United States Marines and serving in the Korean War. He later lived in south Louisiana where he worked on offshore oil and gas drilling rigs before settling in Johnsville and working as a millwright in Crossett and working for Clay Lowry Forestry.

He was born on January 1, 1932 on the Clifton Neal farm, south of Hermitage, to the late Lloyd Temple and Nettie Frazer Temple.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Charles Temple and sisters, Varniece Martin and Ida Maude Temple.

He is survived by two sons, Bobby Temple, Jr. of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Bill Temple, Conway; a daughter, Kim Temple also of Conway: four grandchildren, Darrell Temple, Sara Davis, Jessica Temple and Bradley Temple; and a sister, Alice Faye Bennett of Crossett.

Graveside services will be held on July 26 at 10 a.m. at Calvary Cemetery in Johnsville with Rev. Charlie Williams officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home of Warren.
