Bonnie Belle Taylor McKinney Hooker, 96, of Warren, died on March 11, 2020 at the Chapel Woods Nursing Home.

She was born on May 17, 1923 in Cleveland County and was the daughter of the late John Numan Taylor and Clara Viola Edwards Taylor.

She became a licensed beautician in 1951 and was the owner and operator of Bonnie’s Beauty Shop. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her first husband, George Buddy McKinney and second husband, Gion Bill Hooker; her siblings, Lewis Taylor, Lucy Nichols, Robert Taylor, John Taylor, Tom Taylor, Bertha Nichols, Bernice Maxwell, Mayola Williams and Dewey Taylor.

She is survived by her caregivers, Tracy and Monica Nichols of Warren, and Felica Gray, of Warren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 13, at 2 p.m. at Frazer’s Funeral Home in Warren. Burial will be at Union Cemetery at Rye.
