Bonnie Pearl Ellis, 86, of Eudora, died on March 9, 2018.
She worked at the Eudora Garment Factory for 34 years and was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church. She enjoyed working in her garden, reading and canning.
Mrs. Ellis was preceded in death by her husband, Ester H. Ellis; a daughter, Patsy Ellis Stephenson; a son, Lester C. Ellis; her parents, Oscar and Evelyn Haynes Ward; a brother, Benny Ward and two sisters, Marie Sivils and Lucille Atkins.
She is survived by a son, Randall Alan Ellis of Eudora; two grandsons, Steven Ellis of Maumelle and Brian Keith Ellis of Fayetteville, North Carolina; four great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 12 from 5-7 p.m., Monday at the the New Hope Baptist Church in Eudora.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 13, at 10 a.m. at the church with Rev. Fred Gay officiating. Burial will be at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Lawrence Edwards, Bo Edwards, Anson Smith, Mikey Smith, Kenny Clark and Bo Atkins. Honorary pallbearers are Dean Hale and Bill Welch.
