Monticello linebacker Troy Brunson has signed a National Letter of Intent committing to play football at the University of Arkansas at Monticello.

“I chose UAM because it is a great place to get an education and their football program has taken great strides in the right direction,” Brunson said. “The new coaching staff is a class act and I’m ready to play for them.”

The 5’10”, 195-pound linebacker was a 3-year starter for the Billies and an All-State and All-Conference selection. During his senior season, he had 103 tackles, 15 for a loss, as well as three interceptions and four forced fumbles.
