The Buck Fever Festival, held in Banks every year the weekend of Modern Gun hunt, will feature a deer chili cook-off, pageants, a parade, talent show, carnival, street dance, dog show, horseshoe tournament, and many more activities. Schedule of events:

6 p.m.  – Carnival
6:30 p.m. – Pageant practice (at the tent)

10 a.m. – Information booth opens and vendor and concession booths begin set up
6 p.m.  – Carnival
*6:30 p.m.  – Pageant “Baby Girl” & “Baby Boy” Buck Fever and 3 divisions of girls and three divisions of boys, 13 months – 7 years (at the tent)

9 a.m – Vendor, concessions, arts and crafts, and exhibits open
9 a.m. – Antler exhibit, entries cash prizes given no entry fee
9 a.m. – Deer Chili Cook-off
10 a.m. – Cake Walk
10 a.m. – Dog Show registration
*10:30 a.m. – Dog Show
11 a.m. – Chili Dinner in the tent (Dinner includes bowl of chili, cake or pie & drink for $7)
11:30 a.m.–  Parade line up
12 noon – Parade on Main Street (No entry fee trophies awarded for winners)
12:15 p.m. – Fresh Kill judging for best deer (cash prizes)
12:30 p.m. – Carnival
*2 p.m. – Talent Show in the tent
3 p.m. – Chili Cook-off judging, trophies awarded
6:30 p.m. – Queen of the Moro Bottoms (comedy pageant)
*6:30 p.m. – Pageants: Petite Miss, Young Miss, Junior Miss, and Miss Buck Fever
9:00 p.m. – Street Dance

(Bring your lawn chairs & blankets. If weather is bad it will move to the tent

10 a.m. – 12 noon – Community Praise and Worship in the Tent
